PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 25, 2015) – Marquee Cat, a graduate of last year’s Northern California Yearling Sale, won the third race at Oak Tree at Pleasanton on Thursday, a $31,600 maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies.
Marquee Cat is by Brave Cat, out of the Marquetry mare Angie’s Marquee, was bred by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, is owned by the Schmitts, R. Meister and G. and B. Wallace and is trained by Jeff Bonde.
Marquee Cat ran the five furlongs in :58.54 and won by 2 ½ lengths at odds of 2-1.
