ALBANY, Calif. (Sept. 12, 2023) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Momma Mocca is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Golden Gate Fields Turf Distaff for fillies and mares.
Momma Mocca is by Tamarando, out of the Ole mare Chi Chi Nette, was bred by David McGlothlin, is owned by Gutierrez, Matthew, Hanna, Mark A., Hanna, Maria and Martin, Ralph and trained by Manuel Badilla.
The $30,000 purchase from the Harris Farms consignment of the Northern California Yearling Sale has four wins in 23 starts, earnings of $154,556 and is coming off an Aug. 13 optional claiming win.
