OCALA, Fla. (Mar. 22, 2023) – A graduate of the Northern California Yearling Sale sold for $100,000 in Wednesday’s session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sale 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale.
The Cat Burglar colt, out of the Harlan’s Holiday mare Janice Sue, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, consigned by Triple J Equine Sales and was purchased by Michael Pender, agent for Fihn Holdings. He was timed in 9.4 for on furlong in the under-tack workout.
A half-brother to the stakes-placed Sharetheblame, the colt sold for $4,500 to Juan Zamora at the Northern California Yearling Sale.
