ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 25, 2014) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate The One We Stole won the first race at Golden Gate on Friday, a two-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies.
The One We Stole is by Tannersmyman, out of the Top Account mare Get the Money, was bred by Jim Eaton, is owned by Troy Johnson and trained by Salvador Naranjo.
The One We Stole, winning at first asking, was a $2,300 purchase. She ran the two furlongs in :21.90 and won by a nose at odds of 9-2.
