MEXICO CITY, Mex. (Nov. 17, 2023) – Baby Got Rhythm, a graduate of the Northern California Yearling Sale, won last week’s $60,086 Grade I Fasig-Tipton Classico Lea for 2-year-old fillies at Hipodromo de las Americas.
Baby Got Rhythm is the first stakes winner for sire Uptown Rythem, out of the Eskendereya mare It’sallyoursbaby and was bred by C-Punch Ranch. She ran the mile in 1:40 4/5 and won by a nose at odds of 5-1 in a field of 11.
She was a $1,200 purchase at last year’s Northern California Yearling Sale out of the Harris Farms consignment.
