ALBANY, Calif. (May 17, 2015) – Northern California Yearling and Horses of Racing Age Sale graduate Papaclem’smidnight won the seventh race at Golden Gate on Sunday, a maiden special weight for fillies and mares.
Papaclem’smidnight is a 3-year-old filly by Papa Clem, out of the Bold Badgett mare Midnight Mango, was bred by SLU Inc., consigned by Harris Farms, is owned by GCCI and trained by Cliff Delima. She sold for $18,000 at the 2013 Northern California Yearling and Horses of Racing Age Sale.
Papaclem’smidnight ran the five furlongs in :58.92 and won by three-quarters of a length at odds of 7-1.
This year’s Northern California Yearling Sale will be held Aug. 11 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton.
