Oceanside Draws Four Cal-breds

DEL MAR, Calif. (July 13, 2014) – A California-bred quartet is among the entries in Thursday’s $100,000 Oceanside Stakes for 3-year-olds on the Opening Day card at Del Mar.

G.G. Ryder is by Chhaya Dance, out of the Storm Boot mare Stormy Gigi, was bred by owner Eagle Oak Ranch and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $137,230 and is coming off a a fourth in the June 8 Silky Sullivan.

Love Rules All is by Tribal Rule, out of the Bertrando mare Exquisite Love, was bred by Kjell Qvale, is owned by Bwack Wabbit Racing and is trained by Peter Miller. He has two wins in four starts, earnings of $62,616 and is coming off a June 12 optional claiming win.

Patriots Rule is by Tribal Rule, out of the Seattle Bound mare Candy Factory, was bred by Dahlberg Farms, is owned by Charles Garvey and trained by Robertino Diodoro. He has two wins in six starts, earnings of $103,430 and is coming off a third in the June 8 Silky Sullivan.

Aotearoa is by Good Journey, out of the Lil Tyler mare Madera Royal, was bred by owner Paul Viskovich and trained by Leonard Powell. He has two wins in 10 starts, earnings of $147,500 and is coming off a seventh in the June 21 Singletary Stakes.
