PHOENIX, Ariz. (Dec. 21, 2022) – California-bred One in Vermillion gamely held on to win Wednesday’s $60,000 Lost in the Fog Stakes for 2-year-olds at Turf Paradise.
One in Vermilion is by Army Mule, out of the Any Given Saturday mare Given Star, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Jonathan Kalman and trained by Esteban Martinez. He has two wins in three starts and earnings of $89,620.
One in Vermilion ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:15.25 and won by a head at odds of 5-2 in a field of nine.
