SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Jan. 22, 2023) – One in Vermillion is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Riley Allison Derby for 3-year-olds at Sunland Park.
One in Vermillion is by Army Mule, out of the Any Given Saturday mare Given Star, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Jonathan Kalman and trained by Esteban Martinez.
He has two wins in three starts, earnings of $89,620 and is coming off a win in the Dec. 21 Lost in the Fog.
