FLORENCE, Ky. (Mar. 17, 2023) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Opening Buzz rallied through the stretch to win Friday night’s $97,550 WEBN Frog Stakes for fillies and mares at Turfway Park.
A multiple stakes winner, Opening Buzz is by Stanford, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Open Mic, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jonathan Wong. She has five wins in eight starts and earnings of $201,993.
She ran the six furlongs in 1:09.62 and won by a neck at odds of 3-2.
