DEL MAR, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2015) – Lightly raced Pacific Heat cruised to an easy win in Thursday’s $201,000 Golden State Juvenile Fillies Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.
Pacific Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Hotlantic, was bred by Harris Farms and Donald Valpredo, is owned by Sharon Alesia, Mike Burns and Ciaglia Racing and is trained by Peter Eurton.
She won her only previous start Sept. 25 and now has earnings of $140,000. Pacific Heat ran the seven furlongs in 1:24.31 and won by 5 ¼ lengths as the 7-5 favorite. Sambamzajammin was second and Pacific Diamond third in the field of 12.
