Papa’s Flashy Girl in Wash. Oaks

AUBURN, Wash. (Aug. 6, 2014) — Papa’s Flashy Girl is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $65,000 Washington Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Emerald Downs.

Papa’s Flashy Girl is by Papa Clem, out of the Deputy Commander mare With a Flash, was bred by Legacy Ranch, is owned by Horseplayers Racing Club #213, Patrick McGhee and Mike Strickland and is trained by Jeffrey Metz.

She has two wins in 15 starts, earnings of $50,929 and is coming off a third in the July 19 Kent Handicap.
