ARCADIA, Calif. (June 25, 2015) – Multiple stakes winner Patriots Rule and fellow California-bred Tiz Futurity are entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Grade III San Juan Capistrano Stakes at Santa Anita.
Patriots Rule is by Tribal Rule, out of the Seattle Bound mare Candy Factory, was bred by Dahlberg Farms, is owned by Charles Garvey and trained by Robertino Diodoro. He has five wins in 17 starts, earnings of $335,480 and is coming off a win in the June 6 Crystal Water.
Tiz Futurity is by Tizbud, out of the Makaleha mare Flor de Florestal, was bred by Joe Duffel, is owned by Debra Kovacs, David Medina and Pender Racing and is trained by Michael Pender. He has two wins in 43 starts, earnings of $77,810 and is coming off a fifth in a June 7 optional claimer.
