Pickin’ Time by a Nose in Smoke Glacken

OCEANPORT, N.J. (Sept. 27, 2020) – Pickin’ Time, a New Jersey-bred son of California stallion Stay Thirsty, won Sunday’s $90,000 Smoke Glacken Stakes for 2-year-olds at Monmouth Park.

Pickin’ Time is out of the King of Kings mare Born to Royalty. He ran the six furlongs in 1:10.61 and won by a nose for trainer Kelly Breen at odds of 3-1 in a field of six.

He has two wins in four starts with earnings of $129,025.
