Plenty of Gold Up North

ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2015) – California-bred Gold Rush Dancer and California-sired Algenon are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Gold Rush Stakes for 2-year-olds at Golden Gate.

Gold Rush Dancer is by Private Gold, out of the In Excess mare Dances On Water, was bred by owner John Parker and trained by Candi Tollet. He has two wins in six starts, earnings of $81,893 and is coming off a third in the Nov. 7 Golden Nugget Stakes.

Algenon is a Kentucky-bred by Aragorn, out of the Swiss Yodeler mare Alpine Yodel, was bred by owner Rozamund Barclay and is trained by Len Kasmerski. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $57,200 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 7 Golden Nugget Stakes.
