ARCADIA, Calif. (June 11, 2014) – Pulpit’s Express is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $400,000 Grade I Shoemaker Mile Stakes at Santa Anita.
Pulpit’s Express is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the General Meeting mare Chocolate Meeting, was bred by Dutton/Kessler, is owned by Gary and Cecil Barber and is trained by John Sadler.
He has four wins in 20 starts, earnings of $149,830 and is coming off a May 26 optional claiming win.
