DEL MAR, Calif. (July 30, 2015) – Gimme Da Lute, winner of the Grade II Los Alamitos Derby, returns to state-bred competition in Sunday’s $200,000 Real Good Deal Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-olds at Del Mar.
Stakes winner Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. He has four wins in six starts, earnings of $188,090 and is coming off a an 11th in the May 23 Snow Chief.
Rocko’s Wheel is by Grazen, out of the Double Honor mare Honored Gold, was bred by Jimmy Ukegawa & Mike Mitchell, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing and Ukegawa and is trained by Philip D’Amato. He has three wins in six starts, earnings of $118,030 and is coming off a July 10 optional claimer.
Snow Chief Stakes winner Neveradoubt is by Decarchy, out of the Southern Halo mare Southern Oasis, was bred by Janis Whitman, is owned by SLO Racing Stable, Tom Hudson and Tony Narducci and trained by Mike Puype. He has three wins in six starts, earnings of $207,760 and is coming off a win in a July 18 optional claimer.
Silky Sullivan Stakes winner Grazen Sky is by Grazen, out of the Sky Mesa mare Sky Marni, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steven Miyadi. He has three wins in eight starts, earnings of $223,880 and is coming off a second in a June 28 optional claimer.
