HOUSTON, Tex. (Jan. 20, 2020) – Millionaire California-bred Richard’s Boy, claimed three races back for $40,000, is entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Frontier Utilities Turf Sprint Stakes at Sam Houston.
Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Clark Brewster and trained by Steve Asmussen.
He has 10 wins in 42 starts, earnings of $1,005,024 and is coming off a fifth in a Nov. 13 optional claimer.
