DUBAI, UAE (Mar. 26, 2018) – Richard’s Boy, fifth in the race a year ago, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $1 million Group I Al Quoz Turf Sprint on the Dubai World Cup card at Meydan Racecourse.
Richard’s Boy is by Idiot Proof, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Marissa’s Joy, was bred by Harold and Pamela Tillema, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller.
He has nine wins in 30 starts, earnings of $872,853 and is coming off a seventh in the Mar. 11 Sensational Star. He was fifth in this race last year and was second in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.
