DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2021) – Graduation Stakes winner Rock N Rye returns in Saturday’s $100,000 I’m Smokin Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-olds at Del Mar.
Zuboshi is a filly also entered in Friday’s Generous Portion Stakes. She is by Straight Fire, out of the Pure Prize mare No Better Terms, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Peter Miller. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $63,600 and is coming off a July 30 maiden win.
Freedom’s Glory is by Heaven’s Glory, out of the Dixie Chatter mare Dixie Chick Rocks, was bred by owners John & Allegra Ernst and is trained by Daniel Dunham. He is a maiden making his third start with earnings of $4,700.
Joker Boy is by Practical Joke, out of the Dixieland Band mare Bandora, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Brown, Klein or Lebherz and is trained by Brian Koriner. He won his lone start Aug. 7 with earnings of $42,000.

The $40,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has one win in four starts, earnings of $50,820 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 8 Graduation Stakes.
