Rousing Sermon in Precisionist

ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 29, 2015) – Multiple stakes winner Rousing Sermon and fellow California-breds Magic Mark and Motown Men are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Precisionist Stakes at Santa Anita.

Rousing Sermon is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Awesome Again mare Rousing Again, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has six wins in 33 starts, earnings of $818,072 and is coming off a fifth in the Mar. 29 Santana Mile.

Magic Mark is by Benchmark, out of the Deputy Governor mare Jewel Magic, was bred by owners Dorine and John Lanza and is trained by Ron Ellis. He has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $190,604 and is coming off a third in a Feb. 20 optional claimer.

Motown Men is by Decarchy, out of the Gilded Time mare Ringading, was bred by Mark Gorman and Doug O’Neill, is owned by Gulliver Racing and trained by Ted West. He has five wins in 27 starts, earnings of $282,459 and is coming off a win in an Apr. 10 optional claimer.
