Run Brother Ron Has First Winner

STOCKTON, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2015) — California-based freshman sire Run Brother Ron saw his first winner Sept. 18 when Gunslinger Rules drew off in the stretch to score a five-length victory in the seventh race at Stockton (San Joaquin Fair).

Two-time stakes winner Run Brother Ron, a 10-year-old son of Perfect Mandate—Aloha Mangos, by Bold Badgett, stood the 2015 season for $1,000 at Paradise Road Ranch in Lathrop, Calif.

Mary Jo Bright’s Gunslinger Rules completed the 5 1/2-furlong maiden claiming event in 1:06.08. Bred in California by George and Mary Clare Schmitt, Gunslinger Rules is out of the Bertrando mare Thrillofalifetime.
