S Y Sky, How About Zero in Cal Distaff

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2018) – Multiple stakes winner S Y Sky and How About Zero are the co-high weights in Saturday’s $100,000 California Distaff Handicap for Golden State Series eligible fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Princess Roi is by Roi Charmant, out of the Native Storm mare Stormin Lucy, was bred by GGG Stables, is owned by GGG Stables or Sarno and is trained by Richard Baltas. She has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $149,895 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 10 Solana Beach.

Hailey Raichele is by Bedford Falls, out of the Perfect Mandate mare Vicki’s Mandate, was bred by Carol Lingenfelter, is owned by Lingenfelter or Scolamieri and trained by Sam Scolamieri. She has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $81,105 and is coming off a win in a Sept. 6 optional claimer.
