ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2019) – King Abner is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II San Antonio Stakes at Santa Anita.
King Abner is by Hansen, out of the Salt Lake mare Margarita Salt, was bred by Golden Eagle Farm, is owned by Little Red Feather Racing, Summit Racing or Ticket to Ride and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has six wins in 22 starts, earnings of $341,309 and is coming off a win in a Nov. 16 optional claimer.
