HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 26, 2023) – Stakes winner Sassy Nature is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Abundantia Stakes for fillies and mares at Gulfstream Park.
Sassy Nature is by Straight Fire, out of the After Market mare Renee’s Queen, was bred by Straight Fire, LLC, is owned by C T R Stables and is trained by Jack Sisterson.
She has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $271,610 and is coming off a fourth in a Nov. 3 allowance. This is her first race at Gulfstream since winning the Mar. 25 Melody of Colors Stakes.
