Sir Prancealot’s Offspring Running and Selling

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 9, 2020) — The Irish offspring of California stallion Sir Prancealot continued to make headlines on Monday when Lady Prancealot, an Irish-bred daughter who ran fourth in Saturday’s $2 million Grade I Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf, sold at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale for $1.6 million on Monday.

Lady Prancealot, who ran a 117 Equibase Speed Figure while collecting a purse of $100,000, closed with a rush five wide and finished only a length behind winner Audarya. The Grade I winner, who has career earnings of $740,841, sold to Shadai Farm.

On Friday, Sir Prancealot’s Miss Amulet ran third in the $1 million Grade I Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf in her U.S. debut. Miss Amulet, a Group II winner who posted a 105 Equibase Speed Figure, has career earnings of $262,961 after collecting $90,000 and missing second place by a neck.

Beau Recall — another Sir Prancealot mare and a multiple Grade II winner of $1,481,412 — also sold at Keeneland on Monday for $350,000 to Oxo Equine.

And on Tuesday, Tonahutu — yet another Sir Prancealot mare and a Group II winner of $155,981 — sold at Keeneland for $350,000 to Shadai Farm.

Sir Prancealot stood his first season in 2020 at Rancho San Miguel, where he stands for $15,000.

From only 17 starters in the U.S., Sir Prancealot has three graded and one listed stakes winner and five other stakes horses, with an average earnings per starter exceeding $210,000.
