ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 14, 2018) — California champion Sircat Sally is in foal to Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Arrogate, breeder Joe Turner announced.
Sircat Sally, a 4-year-old daughter of Surf Cat, out of the In Excess mare Sister Sally, was bred and owned by Turner and went on to win seven of eight career starts and with earnings of $552,880. She won her first seven starts, including three graded stakes, but was injured in her final start, when she finished third in the July 23 San Clemente Stakes.
Sircat Sally was named the 2017 Cal-bred Horse of the Year and champion 3-year-old female. She was trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.
