DEL MAR, Calif. (July 26, 2023) – Slow Down Andy and Brickyard Ride, multiple graded-stakes winning California-breds, are entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade II San Diego Handicap at Del Mar.
Slow Down Andy is by Nyquist, out of the Square Eddie mare Edwina E, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $916,600 and is coming off a sixth in the June 10 Hill ‘N’ Dale Metropolitan.
Brickyard Ride is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Southern Image mare Brickyard Helen, was bred by owner Alfred Pais and is trained by Craig Lewis. He has 13 wins in 26 starts, earnings of $828,977 and is coming off a third in the May 28 Thor’s Echo.
