DEL MAR, Calif. (July 26, 2023) – Nominations for a trio of Golden State Series stakes at Del Mar close on Thursday, July 26.
Those stakes are:
The $175,000 Real Good Deal Stakes for 3-year-olds, at seven furlongs, to be run Friday, Aug. 4;
The $150,000 California Dreamin’ Stakes for 3-year-olds & up, at 1 1/16 miles on the turf, to be run Saturday, Aug. 5;
The $125,000 CTBA Stakes for 2-year-old fillies, at 5 ½ furlongs, to be run Sunday, Aug. 6.
Also closing on Thursday are nominations for the open $400,000 Grade I Clement Hirsch for fillies and mares, at 1 1/16 miles, to be run Saturday, Aug. 5, and the $150,000 Grade III La Jolla Handicap for 3-year-olds, at 1 1/16 miles on turf, to be run Sunday, Aug. 6.
