ARCADIA, Calif. (June 7, 2023) – Smoothlikebuttah is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Santa Margarita Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Smoothlikebuttah is by Mr. Big, out of the Five Star Day mare Eight Daughters, was bred by NP Thoroughbreds, is owned by Robert Bach and William Tesser and is trained by Steve Knapp.
She has three wins in 39 starts, earnings of $396,012 and is coming off a fourth in the Apr. 29 Santa Maria Stakes.
