DEL MAR, Calif. (July 21, 2015) – Solid Wager is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $100,000 Grade III Cougar II Stakes at Del Mar.
Solid Wager is by Birdonthewire, out of the Valid Wager mare G Ma, was bred by Madera Thoroughbreds, is owned by Gary and Cecil Barber and Stanford Stable and is trained by Peter Miller.
He has four wins in 20 starts, earnings of $207,306 and is coming off a fifth in the July 2 Bertrando Stakes.
