ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2018) – Multiple stakes winner Spiced Perfection and fellow California-breds Mo See Cal and Hot Autumn are entered in Wednesday’s $300,000 Grade I La Brea Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Mo See Cal is by Uncle Mo, out of the Lydgate mare Do Dat Blues, was bred by Rozamund Barclay, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. She has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $160,030 and is coming off three consecutive wins.
Hot Autumn is by Tiz Wonderful, out of the Orientate mare Shesoprovocative, was bred by H & E Ranch, is owned by Clarke Cooper Family Trust or Kruljac and is trained by Ian Kruljac. She has two wins in eight starts, earnings of $103,125 and is coming off an Oct. 27 optional claiming win.
Spiced Perfection is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Perfect Feat, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Dare To Dream Stable and trained by Brian Koriner. She has five wins in 13 starts, earnings of $442,405 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 11 Betty Grable.
