WINNIPEG, Manitoba (July 6, 2023) – Spitten Kitten, who has a three-race win streak, and fellow California-bred The Comrie Rule are entered in Monday’s $50,000 Jack Hardy Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Assiniboia Downs.
Spitten Kitten is by Air Force Blue, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Zahrah, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises and is owned by trainer Marvin Buffalo, Deb Buffalo and Arnold Souster. She has four wins in seven starts, earnings of $58,380 and is coming off a win in the June 20 Chantilly Stakes.
The Comrie Rule is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Mr. Greeley mare Star Chant, was bred by Rusty Brown, Debi Brown & Victor Flores, is owned by Carol Brown and trained by Allan Brown. She has one win in 11 starts, earnings of $18,885 and is coming off a fourth in a June 28 allowance.
