ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 27, 2014) — Spud Spivens is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Santana Mile Stakes at Santa Anita.
Spud Spivens is by Tizbud, out of the Cutlass Reality mare Oceans Reality, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Vincent and Audrey Marchionno and Henry Moreno and is trained by Moreno.
He has four wins in 26 starts, earnings of $269,544 and is coming off a seventh in a Feb. 7 allowance. He was sixth in this race two years ago.
