LEXINGTON, Ky. (Apr. 25, 2022) – California-bred stakes winner Power Surge sold for $370,000 at Tuesday’s Fasig-Tipton April Digital Select Sale.
Power Surge is a 3-year-old filly by Straight Fire, out of the Thunder Gulch mare Strikes of Fire, was bred by Straight Fire LLC, consigned by Blaine Wright, agent, and purchased by Jay Em Ess Stable.
She won the recent Evening Jewel Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-old fillies and has earnings of $126,590. She sold as a racing/broodmare prospect.
