ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 24, 2013) – Summer Hit is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $100,000 Grade III Berkeley Handicap at Golden Gate.
Summer Hit is by Bertrando, out of the Tough Knight mare Mia F Eighteen, was bred by Kenneth and Janice Heidt, is owned by John Carver and Jerry Hollendorfer and is trained by Hollendorfer.
He has eight wins in 14 starts, earnings of $357,505 and is coming off a seventh in the Sept. 28 Awesome Again.
