DUBAI, U.A.E. (Feb. 3, 2021) — Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Take the One O One has been nominated to the $1.5 million Grade I Dubai Golden Shaheen and the $750,000 Grade II Godolphin Mile.
The races will take place as part of the Dubai World Cup card on Saturday, March 27, at Meydan Racecourse.
Take the One O One is by Acclimation, out of the Jump Start mare North Freeway, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Jay Em Ess Stable and trained by Brian Koriner.
The 6-year-old California-bred, sold for $47,000 at the Northern California Yearling Sale, has six wins in 20 starts, earnings of $490,826 and most recently ran sixth in the Jan. 23 Palos Verdes Stakes.
In 2018, Take the One O One scored back-to-back stakes wins in the Snow Chief and Real Good Deal.
