DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 8, 2022) – Stakes winner The Big Wam, a Washington-bred son of California stallion Mr. Big, is entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Runhappy Del Mar Futurity for 2-year-olds.
The Big Wam is out of the Forestry mare Magnetic, was bred by Keith Marks, is owned by Michael Bello and Charles Barnett and is trained by Luis Mendez.
He has two wins in four starts, earnings of $161,160 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 12 Graduation Stakes.
