AUBURN, Wash. (Aug. 7, 2014) – The Tom Squad is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $65,000 Emerald Downs Derby for 3-year-olds.
The Tom Squad is by Old Topper, out of the Forestry mare Lexie Miss, was bred by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, is owned by J.C. Racing Stable and trained by Jeff Metz.
He has one win in 12 starts, earnings of $57,470 and is coming off a fourth in a July 26 claimer.
