Thirsty Always wins Everett Nevin Stakes

PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 10, 2021) – Thirsty Always stalked and pounced five wide then pulled away for an easy win in Saturday’s $75,000 Everett Nevin Stakes for 2-year-olds at Pleasanton.

Thirsty Always is by Stay Thirsty, out of the Not For Love mare Angela’s Love, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Beckerle, Carrillo and Lovingier and is trained by Walther Solis.

The colt ran the 5 ½ furlongs in 1:04.40 and won by 4 ¾ lengths at odds of 6-1 in the field of nine.

Drinking Again, another son of Stay Thirsty, was second with Hijo Galante third and favored Mr. T’s Thirsty, another son of Stay Thirsty, fourth.
