ALBANY, Calif. (June 8, 2022) – Stakes winner Ultimate Bango and defending champion Give Me the Lute are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Albany Stakes at Golden Gate.
War Games is by Cyclotron, out of the One Man Army mare Myra G, was bred by Bruce Headley, is owned by Barbara DeLima and trained by Cliff DeLima. He has seven wins in 18 starts, earnings of $173,882 and is coming off a ninth in the May 30 All American.
Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Big Duke is by Phantom Wildcat, out of the Orientate mare Time On My Hands, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Hesselein, Munoz, Rainford and Williams and is trained by Sergio Ledezma. The $1,200 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has five wins in 14 starts, earnings of $152,080 and is making his first start since a fifth in a Sept. 3 optional claimer.
