ALBANY, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2020) – Perennial top stallion Unusual Heat is gone, but four of his mares had winning offspring Friday at Golden Gate.
In the first race, 15-1 longshot Everybody Does It won an $8,000 claimer. The 6-year-old is by Coil, out of the Unusual Heat mare Serious Heat and was bred by Madeline Auerbach.
In the second race, Heatsky won a maiden claimer. The 4-year-old filly, by Vronsky, is out of the Unusual Heat mare Bring On the Heat and was bred by trainer and co-owner Sherrie Monroe.
In the sixth race, Nolongerahobby won a $20,000 claimer. The 4-year-old gelding is by The Pamplemousse, out of the Unusual Heat mare Gannet and was bred by C-Punch Ranch.
And in the seventh race, Myangelcindy won an allowance. She is by Coil, out of the Unusual Heat mare Unusual Music, and was bred by Michael Stiehr.
