Halo Dolly, Warren’s Veneda in Paseana

ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2014) — California-breds Halo Dolly and Warren’s Veneda are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Paseana Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Halo Dolly is by Popular, out of the Comic Strip mare Spanish Halo, was bred by Rod and Lorraine Rodriguez, is owned by Hoefflin, Hoefflin, Hollendorfer, O’Farrell, Robin, Todaro, Schneider et al, and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has 17 wins in 35 starts, earnings of $910,256 and is coming off a win in a Nov. 11 allowance.

Warren’s Veneda is by Affirmative, out of the Flying Continental mare More Cal Bread, was bred by owner Benjamin Warren and is trained by Craig Lewis. She has five wins in 11 starts, earnings of $300,064 and is coming off a third in the Dec. 7 Bayakoa.
