DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2021) – Multiple graded winner Acclimate is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $250,000 Grade II Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes at Del Mar.
Acclimate is by Acclamation, out of the Boundary mare Know No Bounds, was bred by Old English Rancho, Sal Berumen & Patsy Berumen, is owned by The Ellwood Johnston Trust, Timmy Time Racing or Bartlett, et al, and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has seven wins in 28 starts, earnings of $633,872 and is coming off a 14th in the Nov. 6 Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf. He was fourth in this race last year.
