Debutante Division on Deck for Drizella

ALBANY, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2021) – Multiple stakes placed Drizella is among the entries in the first division of Friday’s $50,000 Golden Gate Debutante Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.

Drizella is by Stanford, out of the Royal Applause mare Tinderella, was bred by Magee-Wolfson, is owned by William Peeples and trained by Luis Mendez. She has one win in seven starts, earnings of $91,150 and is coming off a fourth in the Nov. 5 Golden State Juvenile Fillies.

Miss Union is by Unionize, out of the Perfect Mandate mare Rachel’s Belle, was bred by owner Timothy O’Leary and is trained by Isidro Tamayo. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of $42,836 and is coming off a third in a Nov. 6 starter’s allowance.

Rose Maddox is by Grazen, out of the Unusual Heat mare Heat the Rocks, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steve Miyadi. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $36,000 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 22 optional claimer.

Tam’s Little Angel is by Tamarando, out of the Lucky Pulpit mare Angel Diane, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $28,080 and is coming off a Nov. 6 maiden win.
