ALBANY, Calif. (May 27, 2023) — California-bred stakes winners American Farmer and Royal ‘n Rando are entered in Monday’s $100,000 All American Stakes at Golden Gate.
American Farmer is by Blugrass Cat, out of the Quiet American mare Farmers Wife and is owned by breeder BKB Stables and trainer Steve Sherman.
He has six wins in 35 starts, earnings of $318,390 and is coming off a win in the Mar. 18 McCann’s Mojave. He was fifth in this race last year.
Royal ‘n Rando is by Tamarando, out of the Grand Slam mare Royal Grand Slam, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. He has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $201,644 and is coming off a sixth in the Jan. 30 Unusual Heat Turf Classic.
