ARCADIA, Calif. (May 24, 2023) – California-bred stakes winners Desmond Doss and Positivity are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Triple Bend Stakes at Santa Anita.
Desmond Doss is by Grazen, out of the Malek mare Malley Girl, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steven Miyadi. He has seven wins in 22 starts, earnings of $430,911 and is coming off a fourth in a May 7 optional claimer.
Positivity is by Paynter, out of the City Zip mare Sam’s Sunny City, was bred by Allen Farm, is owned by CTR Stables and Omar Aldabbagh and trained by Doug O’Neill. He has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $288,792 and is coming off a third in the Apr. 22 Kona Gold.
