LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 8, 2022) – California-bred stakes winner An Eddie Surprise sold for $170,000 at Tuesday’s session of the Keeneland November Sale.
An Eddie Surprise is a 7-year-old mare by Square Eddie, out of the High Demand mare Dani Reese, was bred by Reddam Racing, was consigned by Grovendale Sales, agent, and was purchased by Coteau Grove Farms/Cary Bloodstock, agent. She was sold was sold in foal to Yaupon.
An Eddie Surprise won the Wishing Well Stakes, was third in the Grade III Senator Ken Maddy and earned $367,666.
