Mucho Unusual Sells for $1,100,000

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2022) – California-bred Grade I winner Mucho Unusual sold for $1,100,000 in Sunday’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale.

Mucho Unusual is by Mucho Macho Man, out of the Unusual Heat mare Not Unusual, was bred by owner George Krikorian,was consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale at Xalapa, agent, and was purchased by Shadai Farm.

Winner of the Grade I Rodeo Drive, Mucho Unusual also won the Grade II San Clemente, the Grade III Robert Frankel and the Grade III Megahertz, with eight wins in 24 starts and earnings of $957,415. She was a $170,000 RNA in 2017. Her half-brother, Big Score, is a Grade III winner of $702,792.

Mucho Unusual’s last race was a fourth in the Mar. 5 Buena Vista Stakes and she sold as a broodmare not pregnant.
