Bear Fan Stakes Draws 11 at Golden Gate

ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 5, 2018) – A contentious field of 11 is entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Bear Fan Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at Golden Gate.

Meet Miss Kitty is by Jet West, out of the Fargo mare Meet Me in Fargo, was bred by Clifford and Barbara DeLima, is owned by Barbara DeLima and is trained by Cliff DeLima. She has three wins in 23 starts, earnings of $95,182 and is coming off a second in a Nov. 30 allowance.

Spring Heat is by Coil, out of the Unusual Heat mare Heatology, was bred by M. Auerbach & Barry Abrams, is owned by G C C I and is trained by Cliff DeLima. She has 10 wins in 27 starts, earnings of $227,522 and is coming off a Nov. 4 claiming win. She was fourth in this race last year.

Isa Firecracker is by Heatseeker, out of the Tannersmyman mare Caroline Elena, was bred by owner Myles McMahon and is trained by Jamey Thomas. She has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $159,015 and is coming off a third in the Oct. 6 Harris Farms.

Vronilla Parfait is by Vronsky, out of the Native Prospector mare Deb’s Parfait, was bred by owners Leon Lewis and Billy Hipwell and is trained by Sergio Ledezma. She has four wins in 11 starts, earnings of $109,963 and is coming off an Oct. 21 allowance win.
